For those who wish to experience the joy of embroidering on the finest European linen, here are four specially curated white linens in 12" x 12" cuts suitable for stitching four small projects (if divided into 6" x 6" squares) or one medium project.

The sampler pack includes four distinct linens:

A very high thread count, closely woven, plain weave, lighter weight linen with a smooth hand, reminiscent of antique fine linens from days gone by, perfectly suited to every kind of fine surface embroidery, including whitework, cutwork, light goldwork (with backing), ecclesiastical embroidery, heirloom sewing, monogramming, and more.

53/63 thread count, plain weave linen with a smooth hand, slightly heavier weight with a close but visible weave, suitable for all kinds of surface embroidery techniques, whitework, fine drawn-thread work, ecclesiastical embroidery, goldwork and other techniques.

38 count even-weave linen with a smooth hand, closely woven in a medium weight, suitable for fine counted work, some whitework techniques, and for many types of general surface embroidery.

Semi-transparent, high count, very fine linen suitable for delicate embroidery techniques, shadow work, fine monogramming, whitework (especially layering), needle laces foundations, heirloom sewing and more.

These fine linens retail at $90-$250 / yard, making the sampler pack a great way to see and experience these fine linens before investing in a larger quantity for your magnum opus.

The Sampler Pack comes with each linen clearly labeled and a card with types and descriptions, along with information on how to prepare your linen for hand embroidery.
