Reticello Embroidery Kits

These reticello kits were designed by Guiliana Buonpadre, and they are used in conjunction with her book, Il Reticello, available here (more stock coming soon).

Kit Contents

60cm x 120cm (approx 24" x 48") piece of superior quality 38-count Italian linen (Note: the linen size is now larger than the linen size in the first run of kits; the additional linen allows for the creation of a pillow OR for creating two table-toppers approximately 24" square.)

A full hank (550 meters) of Ritorto Florentino #12, an Italian embroidery thread by Anchor.

3 needles (sharp, blunt, bead)

Layout guide and basic instructional pamphlet with finishing instructions for a cushion from the completed embroidery.

Please Note:

Unlike many embroidery kits sold in the US, these kits do not include step-by-step stitching instructions. It is assumed that the embroiderer already has some knowledge of reticello, OR has access to Il Reticello for guidance in the required techniques.

Kit 1: Red Panels (easy) (available in ivory linen with red thread OR natural linen with red thread)
Kit 2: Blue Rhombi (easy) (ivory linen with blue thread OR white linen with blue thread)
Kit 3: Sampler (medium) (white linen with cream thread; white linen with white thread; ivory linen with cream thread)
Kit 4: Italian Garden (medium) (natural linen with cream thread)
Kit 5: Reticello Flower (medium) (natural linen with cream thread)
