Linen-Cotton Blend Sample Packs

Our linen-cotton blend sample packs feature a premium Italian 60% linen / 40% cotton blend fabric in an array of beautiful and fun colors and neutrals.

The fabric is a 38 count even-weave, suitable for surface embroidery and for counted work, too, making it an excellent all-purpose ground fabric for needlework and textile pursuits.

Slightly softer than linen, linen-cotton blends are often used on projects that involve constructing items. For example, the "Home Sweet Home" workbox from Caroline Pierce's well-beloved project book is a linen-cotton blend.

Some designers use linen-cotton blends as their ground fabric of choice because it is often more affordable than linen in similar weights and colors, and it usually comes in a much wider array of trendy colors.

Each sample is a 12" square cut on the thread, giving you enough fabric to work with, so that you can familiarize yourself with the feel and performance of the fabric. You can produce at least 2 small projects (and perhaps more) and one decent medium sized project with a 12" square of fabric.

We offer three fabric sample packs:

Sample Pack A: 6 neutrals, including a dark stone-charcoal, three different shades of naturals with slightly different color tints, off-white, and optical white

Sample Pack B: 8 colors: dark violet, light violet, deep sea foam, grass green, soft yellow, deep-sky blue, dark coral, peach

Sample Pack C: deep royal blue, sage green, brown, brick red, true red, orange, gold, and bright yellow

Please note that the prices vary with each sample pack, because the cost of the fabric varies based on color.

Shipping

The sample packs ship to domestic US addresses via Ground Advantage, tracked and insured.

They ship to Canadian addresses via First Class International, tracked and insured.

When ordered with other products, we will ship the whole order Priority Mail or Ground Advantage, depending on accumulated rates. Any notable excess shipping cost will be refunded once your order is processed.
