Herbarium is the 9th volume written by Giuliana Buonpadre, incorporating reticello techniques with some freestyle embroidery, to create beautiful Italian needle lace that combines classical techniques with a modern spin.

Flowing floral elements break free of the more rigid drawn thread and cutwork areas that form the foundation of the designs.

The text is in Italian, English, and French.

Within, you will find a variety of different floral samples, with instructions on stitching the elements that make up the samples. You'll also find information on materials, and instructional diagrams on the various stitches.

The book is best suited to stitchers who already have at least a little knowledge with reticello, drawn thread work, Hardanger, or the like, with experience in following diagrams.

Giuliana's earlier volumes, especially Vol 3 (Reticello) and Vol 5 (Fior di Reticello) provide a good foundation for tackling the exciting design features in Herbarium.
