In Fior di Reticello, Giuliana explores needle lace fillings and techniques to create floral elements to embellish traditional reticello foundations. She expands beyond traditional techniques, working beyond the standard boundaries of reticello, to enliven the needlework and give it a new spin.

Her gorgeous motifs are inspiring and fun! She teaches the reader what materials to use, what stitches and techniques to employ and how to work them, all to create floral motifs in a variety of needle lace fillings on reticello foundations.

The book is written in Italian, English, and French.

This book is a good follow-up to volume 3, Il Reticello, and an excellent introduction to volume 9, Herbarium, where she takes the floral themes even further in exuberant color and creative approaches.
