This is a perfect way to sample a good range of the new Eco Vita wool thread line from DMC.

This wool thread can be used for crewel embroidery and other wool stitching. It is roughly equivalent, when stitched, to working with three strands of DMC floss.

The colors in the collection range from subdued to brighter, in a palette that is pleasing to the eye and easy to design with. There's a good range of color and shade choice, making it perfect for working any type of design for wool embroidery.
