Autumn Fire Embroidery Kit

Materials kit for the 2022 Stitch Snippet Stitch-Along "Autumn Fire."

This project focuses on embroidering a small autumn tree using simple stitches in silk and cotton threads, in an exercise on manipulating and controlling color. The finished embroidery is then prepared for framing using traditional blocking and lacing techniques.

Kit contents:
Linen ground fabric, micron pen for transfer, 2 colors of DMC cotton floss, 5 colors of Soie d'Alger (silk), needles, a full spool of linen thread for lacing, specially cut arched mat, and mounting board. You provide a hoop, scissors, and a frame if desired.
